Apple has confirmed that it will soon open a new retail store in Berlin, Germany, with Apple Rosenthaler Strasse now official. Apple hasn't yet confirmed exactly when the new store will open, however.
The news comes as the company shares exclusive iPhone, iPad, and Mac wallpapers that people can put onto their devices in preparation for the big opening day.
The new wallpapers are available at the new store's web page, with Apple also saying that the new store will open in Mitte — right at the heart of Berlin.
Via Google Translate:
Our new store in Berlin Mitte will be there for you soon. Here, where everyone has a creative construction site , we support everyone who implements their ideas, tries something new or starts from scratch. Because everything is possible in Mitte. And that's exactly why we're here.
Twitter user Storeteller has also been able to share a photo of the new store, currently covered in similar artwork to that of the new wallpapers.
Apple might not have been able to get the store ready for iPhone 13 launch day but it will surely be the best iPhone buying experience in town once it's open.
Apple Stores are much more than retail outlets, of course. They're places where people can go to get support or just learn about their new device — and maybe pick up some accessories while they're there!
